About (From SO Nutrition)

Nutritional therapy is not a substitute for medical treatment, drug therapy or counselling, but offers a complementary approach to improve overall mental and physical health parameters by seeking to increase nutrient status and identify any underlying blood sugar, hormonal and biochemical imbalances.

Using thoroughly researched, evidence-based protocols and functional laboratory testing, Sarah is able to produce highly effective, easy-to-follow nutrition plans with recipes, meal ideas and handouts for all ages and dietary preferences.

Sarah lives at home in Greater Manchester with her 2 Border Collies – Sammy and Luna, her daughter Georgia – a primary school teacher, and her husband and son – Alastair and Matthew – both of whom have ADHD.

What To Expect From Nutritional Therapy Coaching

Each plan provides a personalised, evidence-based approach to nutrition for optimal health and wellbeing.

Initial Appointments: will last between 60 and 90 minutes, either online or in person. During the appointment I will take a comprehensive case history. We will explore your symptoms in detail and then focus on each body system, family and past medical history, diet and lifestyle habits and your health goals.

Your Personal Nutrition and Lifestyle Plan: I will produce a highly personalised protocol for you to follow, based on your goals and taking into account your biochemical individuality and the root causes of any health concerns. We will discuss your plan in detail to make sure you are happy with the suggestions and recommendations I have made, and together we will set realistic targets in order to ensure that long-term, manageable changes are incorporated into your normal routine. Your plan will include meal plans, recipes, hand-outs and resources, supplement recommendations if applicable, and suggestions about lifestyle adjustments.

Follow-Up Appointments: We will have the opportunity to review and assess your progress and you will be able to provide your feedback. We will then make any necessary adjustments to your plan and I will make further recommendations. The goal is to empower you with the tools to move forward and make the changes needed to help you flourish.
