About Vanessa Boudier
About Vanessa:
Hello, I'm Vanessa
I know first-hand that understanding yourself through a neurodivergent lens can be life-changing. As someone with both ADHD and Autism (AuDHD), I bring not only professional expertise but also lived experience to the work I do.
Over the past 24 years of full time practice, I have supported people from all walks of life through more than 7,000 hours of therapeutic practice and over 2,000 hours of coaching. As both an ICF-certified ADHD coach and accredited counsellor, I am passionate about helping individuals better understand themselves, overcome challenges, and recognise the strengths that often sit alongside ADHD and Autism.
Many of the people I work with have received a diagnosis later in life and are trying to make sense of years, sometimes decades, of feeling different, misunderstood, or exhausted from masking. Others are navigating the impact of trauma, managing demanding professional careers, or facing significant life transitions such as perimenopause and menopause. Whatever has brought you here, my aim is to provide a supportive, compassionate space where you feel heard, understood, and accepted.
I have particular experience supporting:
- Adults with a late diagnosis of ADHD and/or Autism
- Individuals who have experienced trauma or complex trauma
- Business owners, executives, and professionals balancing high levels of responsibility
- Women navigating ADHD, Autism, perimenopause, and menopause
- People seeking practical support with executive functioning, organisation, emotional regulation, and self-understanding
- Access To Work Funded Adults
My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and tailored to your individual needs. Together, we can explore:
- What your diagnosis means for you and your life
- How ADHD and Autism may have impacted your experiences before diagnosis
- Your unique strengths, abilities, and opportunities for growth
- Practical strategies and systems that help you thrive at home, at work, in your relationships and social connections
- Ways to build self-compassion, confidence, and resilience
Throughout my career, I have worked within state and private education systems, delivered independent services for NHS Complex Trauma Teams, and partner with one of the UK's largest private ADHD and Autism assessment organisations. I remain committed to ongoing professional development to ensure my knowledge stays current and reflects the latest understanding of neurodiversity.
Above all, I believe that neurodivergent people do not need fixing. With the right understanding, support, and strategies, it is possible to move beyond simply coping and begin thriving.
Based in Reading, Berkshire, I offer both in-person and online appointments via Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
I hold a full Enhanced DBS certificate.
I look forward to supporting you on your journey towards greater self-understanding, confidence, and wellbeing.
