About Avon

I am a ICF ACC Certified Professional Coach and have been coaching for nearly 15 years.

Prior to coaching I had a successful career in Television and worked on many programmes eventually becoming a Drama Producer. However, I ended up  burning out from over work.

I turned to coaching to understand why and to find a better way of living and eventually trained with the Co-Active Training Institute and have been coaching mainly creatives ever since and occasionally still work in TV.

However, when I took a Masters in my 40’s I discovered I was Dyslexic and Dyspraxic and much of my boredom at school made sense.

Several years later I was diagnosed as ADHD Combined and the burn out, workaholic, perfectionism, overwhelm, time blindness, impulsivity and procrastination all completed the missing parts of the puzzle.

My top strengths include learning and curiosity so adding ADHD training to my tool kit was done partly for my own curiosity and partly so I could better serve my clients many of whom had similar struggles.

Understanding how impaired Executive Functions impacts our lives on a daily basis means with the right support and structures in place we have the ability to fulfil our potential.

I have seen so much talent wasted in the creative industries, especially amongst women who end up overwhelmed and feeling that they are not good enough or a feeling of not being able to keep up.

I’m on a mission to support as many people as possible to go from overwhelmed to flourishing in their lives.
