About Christina Macnamara
I coach ADHD, autistic and AuDHD adults, whether you're formally diagnosed, self-identified, or just starting to wonder. I was diagnosed with autism, ADHD and dyspraxia in my late thirties, after years of feeling like I was working twice as hard for half the results, so my lived experience shapes my approach as much as my professional training does. I'm accredited to PCC level by the International Coaching Federation and as an ADHD coach with the Association for Coaching, having trained with Barrett Coaching and Training. With over ten years in the personal development field and a background in strategic marketing, I also work with neurodivergent business owners.
Session details
ADHD coaching with me is 1:1 and online, in 60-minute sessions. I also offer in-person sessions in Bristol. You might come in with clear goals, or we can figure them out as part of the coaching. There's no set programme, but these themes come up often for ADHD clients:
- Getting things done: we isolate where things actually get stuck for you, then experiment with changes that bring more ease to time management, getting started and prioritisation.
- Energy and capacity: pacing your energy and building in active recovery, so you can achieve your goals without burning out.
- Motivation and focus: exploring your natural attention cycles and how you start and switch between tasks, so you find new ways to get the boring stuff done and finish what you start.
- Getting off the emotional rollercoaster: building in pauses and tools for self-regulation, so you can keep things more steady without just pretending to be fine.
- Self-perception and confidence: identifying and shifting self-critical thoughts, so you can see your strengths and build a more accurate, generous sense of self.
You don't need a formal diagnosis to work with me. I also work with clients on rejection sensitivity, and with people who are taking ADHD medication or deciding whether to. Sessions are adapted to how you process, whether that's pace, format, notes in advance or camera off.

Additional offerings
Neuroaffirming approach: your neurodivergence is at the heart of the coaching process. Rather than pushing through towards goals, we work with the idea of experiments: you take small steps between sessions, and we review them together so you can see what's working, make adjustments and keep momentum.
Foundations group programme: a 6-week online group programme for neurodivergent adults, with weekly 2-hour Zoom sessions combining teaching, group discussion and exercises, plus optional weekly body doubling sessions. Topics include executive functioning, emotional regulation, energy management and self-advocacy.
Business and career coaching: I also offer neurodivergent business coaching and neurodivergent career coaching.
Continuing after the package: some clients choose to continue after the initial six sessions, with another series of sessions or on an ad hoc basis.
